“I always think how to build a kind of landscape”
W/ François Bianco
Square Meters features the French visual and sound artist François Bianco.
Since his first steps at the École nationale supérieure des beaux-arts de Paris in Emmanuel Saunier's studio, François Bianco has been composing assemblages that bring together different materials. Whether it be stone, cement, metal, sounds or images, he always maintains a poetic relationship with them, and always practices suggestion rather than affirmation. The notion of fragment is omnipresent in his work. - Text by Anaël Pigeat
Talking about her workplace, François Bianco says: "I always think how to build a kind of landscape".
He lives and works between Paris and Arcueil.
